Issue with connecting CDJ 900 to rekordbox - no virtual decks

Setup up:
CDJ 900 x2
DJM 900 nexus
USB hub
Mac: Catalina.
Rekordbox 6

Im trying to use my cdj 900 as midi controllers (HID) for performance mode in rekordbox.

Issue: no option to select virtual decks

With traktor i could select the decks and this setup worked well.

I have followed the setup videos step by step. As per method one in this article:

CDJ's and DJM connected to mac via usb

DJM is selected as audio output in rekordbox options

Process on Cdj: I click link - control mode - usb midi = both decks say they are connected.

No option to scroll to select virtual decks
