also i just tried switching from aux to master and that seems to have synced. is that temporary or am i just imagining things?

Headphones out of sync
I bought new headphones and it seems the louder i turn them up to mix with the more i cant play around with the crossfader from one channel to the other and back and forth. What i have in the headphones is at least 2 seconds out of sync with what's coming out through line out in speakers.
I wish there was a manual for things like these.
Any one know what button to press to sync it?

If the headphones and master are not in sync, I would suggest it's possibly whatever device you have your device connected to. If it's a home theatre amplifier, those often have audio processing (eg. Dolby surround) causing a signal delay. Either use a DIRECT mode on the amp or us a different output device.
