A little bemused by the lack of direct tech support from Pioneer here...
I have had the DDJ 1000 for a number of years but it has been in storage. I've just set it up again with my Windows 10 PC and installed all the latest firmware and drivers. So i have a couple of issues with no solution so far:
1. I want to take audio out from the line outputs and into my interface. Yes no problem with that, but i have no option within the audio settings menu for the headphone output. I only have line 1-2 available so, of course this is no use for cueing.
2. After the frustration of the above i decided to try an alternative and route the audio over ASIO. I assume this may give me a headphone option... problem being, the driver does not connect and just refreshes back to the select output device.
Support can you please come back to me on this.

You should be using the DDJ-1000 ASIO as your audio device, not the LINE option which only provides a single pair of outputs.
If you are having problems selecting the ASIO device, please ensure that the DDJ-1000 is NOT selected as the Windows default audio device (any of the versions), and that the DDJ-1000 appears correctly within the Windows Device manager.
