DDJ-SX2

Hi guys. I have been experiencing a sound fluctuation whilst playing through my serato pro and DDJ SX2 . The sound will drop but not hectically and then increase quite a bit and do that on and off randomly. It's happened twice now whilst playing out . I have read on other platforms that this is happening to other users of the SX2. Please help. Has been perfect for almost 2 years and now this all of a sudden. While testing it at home it will randomly just start doing this, I've changed USB cables ,used different laptops but still the same result.

The trim is there to adjust the level on the channel per-song, as some newer songs have much higher gain than older songs mastered at lower levels. That's not a concern, but the levels fluctuating on their own should be investigated. I'll direct you to please contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or repaired.

Does it happen for an entire song?  Sometimes some tracks are turned up louder than others in Serato and that can be adjusted down.  Also what version of the software and firmware are you running?  Also Windows or OS?

Using the  latest software and firmware. Windows 10 . Tried Auto Gain setting as well and makes no difference, it just happens out the blue and can happen with any song. It doesn't happen the entire song , will happen for 10 to 20 seconds and then "behave" for a minute and then start again a few minutes later ,possibly skip a song or two before it happens again

Does it happen on every channel or just one?

Does it also occur with line input sources?

It only happens when I'm playing on Serato through my Controller.. It's happening on channel 1 and 2 as I use line 3 for mic and line 4 for streams

I did test all the line inputs with an ipod av and aux cable and they all sounded great but the trims can all be set at (12 o clock) without redlining .

The other issue I have is that my trims have to be set so low . They set at the first marker (8 o clock) ,if I set them any higher they redline straight away on the channels individual led strips.  Not sure if that's related at all though

As you can see ,this is the setting that I have to have my trims on when I'm using Serato. SX2 possibly need to be reset to factory settings ? Does Serato maybe have an issue with the DDJ-SX2 as I have noted that there are other users with he same problem
