Is it safe to use RCA connectors with tight grip?

Hi Pulse,

Got some Onyx series Sommer RCA cables with HICON connectors. The connectors seem to have a tight grip on the DJM-250MK2 and a little looser grip on the XDJ-700s. Is it safe to use such tight-fitting RCA connectors with Pionner DJ gear?

So long as you're careful in removing the connectors, you should be fine. Pioneer DJ sold some that had a tightening collar and we often forgot to loosen it when using them at trade shows, but fortunately never damaged any devices by ripping out the RCA jacks!
