ddj 1000 wont play through speakers

hiya hoping someone can help, been battling with my ddj 1000s all day trying to get the master to play through my speaker. everything else is in full working order. im on windows and ive re installed all the firmware and drivers multiple times, ive been on forums and reddit all day and nothing seems to work. my speaker is a bose with a 3.5mm aux input in the back so ive got a RCA to aux cable running from the back of the controller into the speaker but am getting 0 sound, when i select the" play audio from computers built in speakers" option it plays fine and can hear the mix. my only issue is that i can't get sound out of the speaker.

Check your audio configuration and output devices (speakers / amps / whatever). If you still have issues, please file an inquiry ticket here and our support team will gather some additional information to assist you in resolving this issue.

Ben,

Your DDJ-1000 should be configured as the audio device within rekordbox, and the cable should be connected from the master output of the DDJ to the input of the speakers.

Are you getting signal level on the DDJ channels and master?

hi, thanks for the response, the ddj-1000 is configured as the audio device within recordbox, yes there is signal on both. that signal will also play audio out of my laptop speakers when i select "play audio from built in speakers" it just won't play out of the speakers. ive tried everything and am 99.9% sure its not something silly like stuff not being plugged in or turned on or the trim being turned down etc

It looks like it's set up properly. The only thing that may keep it from working as expected would be that the master volume level is down, or you have the DDJ-1000 selected as the primary audio device for Windows.
