DDJ1000 - Tightening loop with jog wheel

Hi,

Ive seen some DJ's enter into a loop with the loop in / out buttons then instead of using the in button to half the loop they use the jog wheel to tighten up the loop. Sounds a lot smoother, ive tried to do this with the jog wheels but cant seem to get it to work on the 1000. Is this possible on the DDJ1000?
