Is another audio driver than 4.0 better for XDJ-XZ and OSX Big Sur?

My XDJ-XZ (firmware both 1.22 and 1.23) with Rekordbox 6.6.1 in performance mode on Mac OSX Big Sur has become unusable as it suffers audio drop outs after several minutes of playing. This happens when a new unanalyzed track is loaded, when I open a tab in chrome and just randomly. Super disappointing.

The only Audio driver I can find online is 4.0 for Monterey not Big Sur. My Mac is Late 2013 and will not update to Monterey.

Should I roll back to 3.0 audio drivers? If so where can I find the file?

Is anyone running a solid firmware/driver combo on Big Sur that just works? Should I just go back to Rekordbox 5.x?
