New DDJ-1000SRT Power Cut Out Issue

I recently received my DDJ-1000SRT at the beginning of January after months of it being on back order. Finally was able to use it at a gig at the beginning of this month; first weekend of April. No issues on the first time it was used. The last 2 times, however, the power cut out on the controller in the middle of a set. I have only dj'd on this controller a total of 3 times.  Each time it was plugged into a different power strip - so it's safe to say that's not the issue and this happened at different venues. It seemingly happened AFTER plugging in when mic XLR on the first power shut off occurrence and the second occurrence was when someone was talking on the mic. Not sure if that was the issue being that the microphone was also used during the 1st time I used it for a gig by 2 separate people and there was no power cut out issues.  I use a wired mic by Digital Reference.  The first time the power went out during my 2nd gig it was unplugged and reset the power strip.  The second time the power cut out I just pressed the power button and powered it back on. The controller itself is slow to power up which is something I noticed there is a lag almost to the point where I'm not sure if I pressed the power button taking more than 5 seconds to light up (I never had this issue with my previous Pioneer controller - DDJ-SX).  Has anyone experienced this or know what could be happening? I hope it’s not a faulty controller being that there have been so many issues with the supply chain waiting another 6 months or so for a controller is ridiculous but I can’t have my controller powering off (thus having the music go off) in the middle of my dj sets.
