DDJ400 Disconnecting

As I am playing on rekordbox, my DDJ400 will randomly disconnect from rekordbox and completely pause everything and I won't be able to control my controller for a couple seconds. Then, I tried to update the firmware but since it keeps disconnecting there are no lights on besides the blinking channel levels.
