Brand New DDJ400 purchased connected to Version 6 Rekordbox on a Mac with OS Catlina. No Driver required according to Pioneer DJ.
The problem is Audio not coming through the master out on back of mixer, All settings correct in Preferences > Audio > DDJ40
Master out set to Master and Cueing to Headphones etc
After trying 3 computers and 3 versions of Rekordbox, this is what we found.
Rekordbox V6 latest revision - No Sound out of master only Cue
Rekordbox v6 earlier version - Sound from Master - Distorted Cue
Rekordbox V5.75 - Sounds Perfect on both.
Looks like a Software or compatibility problem Piooner DJ ?

PioneerDJ have decided to close this discussion without my consent even though I have done this with two different DDJ400, please be aware people, I will follow up with their support. It would have been better to allow others to comment.
Not at all -- thousands of DDJ-400 users don't have this problem, so it's likely an issue with your OS trying to use it for system audio output. Please create a ticket with the support team in your region for further assistance in resolving this issue. Thanks!
