can XDJ-XZ update to 4 channel standalone

As many wonder why the XDJ-XZ is only 2 channels standalone, we also would like to know if this unit could ever be changed to a 4 channel standalone unit with just a firmware update.  Or is the something that is only possible by making changes to the hardware?
