DDJ-RZX

Hi, Have any of you had any trouble with the DDJ-RZX "freezing" up on you? Because I read a review that said it froze up on the DJ writing the review. And I don't want to be in the middle of a performance and have it "freeze" up on me. Also, is it compatible with Mac OSX Catalina? Also, what is your opinion of it? Do you like it? And does it work well with Virtual DJ? Thanks, Scott

I take reviews of anything with a grain of salt.

What kind of computer was that DJ using? A 10 year old Windows 8 machine? Brand new MacBook Pro? How did he have it connected - a no-name USB hub? Was his computer running and update at the time? Were all of his drivers up-to-date? Not just the Pioneer DJ drivers, but other system drivers?

So many variables.

But that said, if I could be completely honest with you, I'd suggest you consider another product. The XDJ-XZ is superior in so many ways, yet offers some features that creep into DDJ-RZX territory. No, you won't get the full preview displays, but it's less expensive, lighter, and can operate in stand-alone mode.

Give it a think. ;)
