beat adjustment not saving

All of the sudden my beat adjustments aren’t saving. I go open up a track in export mode, setup a cue point, set the first beat of a bar to the current position. I can see the change on the track at this point but when I leave export mode the change I made is gone. Is there a step I’m missing?
