DDJ-1000/ No sound using channel cues

I just got in my new DDJ-1000 today and I'm having some issues (upgraded from the 400).

I can hear sound through my headphones using the Master Cue ONLY. When the Headphone selector is on mixer or cue and I have the channel cues turned on I do not get any sound coming out from them. I'm running the most current drivers and firmware for the platform. Any help/info would be appreciated.

On the headphone selector , do you have it turned to channel or master?

When trying to listen to a single channel for mixing the headphone selector is rotated all the way to the left onto cue and channel one's cue button is on. No sound. If I rotate it to mixing still no sound with channel 1's cue button on. However if I rotate to Master and hit the Master cue I will get sound.
