DDj400 newbie

Hi there,

I just bought the DDj400 and I am trying to set it up but I am not able to get the sound out of my headphones when setting it up with Rekordbox.

I don't think the guides are very well or at least I have tried to follow them, but no sound out of my headphones.

Is there someone who can help me out? Thanks.

Hi there, I have actually tried it on both a Mac and a PC, didn't work on either. My current laptop is a PC. Lenovo Thinkpad.

No worries - a couple of things to check:

1) That the DDJ-400 is not set as the default audio device by the OS. (Click the speaker icon on either OS and see if the DDJ-400 is the one with the check or listed as the main output.)

2) That the DDJ-400 is assigned as the audio device within rekordbox.

3) That you have pressed one of the cueing buttons for the channel or master on the DDJ itself, and you have turned up the headphone volume knob.
