I just installed RB on my iMac and now I wan't to export my music to the device. Rekordbox however isn't detecting my device and export to device is highlighted Grey. I reformatted it and my Mac is detecting the USB aswell. I tried various USB's within the same FAT-32 format but rekordbox on my Mac won't detect them as on my windows laptop rekordbox doesn't have a problem with this. On the windows one it is detecting my USB's. Is there something I need to change in the preference menu? Or does rekordbox not detecting my devices because they were linked to a Windows laptop before?
I could't find a solution on the other topics that were posted regarding this topic. Help would be much appriciated
Hey Jens,
The USB drive must be a single partition, formatted either FAT32 or HFS+ (Mac only). If you formatted the drive on your Windows computer, you may have formatted it exFAT or NTFS. The Mac may read the drive, but rekordbox cannot use them as export devices.

Thanks. I found out what the issue was. Rekordbox external devices was switched off in my Mac privacy settings :) it works now :)
