DDJ-1000 not working with new 11th gen Intel laptop

hello Pioneer DJ.

I have just bought a new Acer Aspire 5 laptop with an intel i5 11th gen processor. I have downloaded and installed the driver and firmware for my DDJ-1000 controller from the Pioneer DJ website, deleted it all when it didn't allow my DDJ-1000 to operate Rekordbox and reinstalled it. I have done this 4 times and still nothing is working. can someone please advise me what the hell I am doing wrong?

Hi Keith,

You'll need to contact Acer for an update to their Realtek audio driver or a BIOS update to resolve the conflict between the CPU and the onboard Realtek device which is blocking other audio devices from being recognized. Sorry about that!

I had a similar issue when I installed the last update of Windows (20H2).

The DDJ 1000 was not more recognized.

I have uninstalled the 20H2 and everything is now working

i had to completely reset my laptop. I backed everything up to an external hard drive and performed a full system reset on the machine. once this was done, everything now works as it should. only downside, all my tracks are no longer in date order as they were uploaded from the external drive at the same time on the same date. this makes finding things by age a nightmare.
