Rekordbox6 crashing on start

Hi, I am running the latest version of rekordbox. When I start it to go through the opening screen of import library the whole application freezes, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3 times. I am unclear as to what the root of my problem is because it does not give me a crash log. Any suggestions of what to do?
