Transferring hot cues created on DDJ 1000's when moving over to CDJ's

I have hot cues on every track created in the software on my DDJ-1000's.

If I backup all tracks onto USB and plug that into CDJ 3000's (or CDJ 2000's) are the hot cues remembered too? I know the CDJ 2000's only have 3 cue slots and the 3000's has 8 but I only have a couple of hot cues per track so that doesn't really matter too much to me.

If you mean by backup, export/sync to your USB stick, then yes all hot cues will be remembered. But only the first 3 will be shown. ANd on players that can do 8, only the 8 o the first bank.

If you mean by backup, moving your database with track to your USB stick to play off from, I'm not sure that works.

Hey, I didn't mean specifically exporting out to USB. I just assumed that once a hot cue is set, something is marked within the meta data of those tracks so when they are then opened in Rekordbox on another machine, the hot cues are remembered or is that not the case? So when I say backup, I simply meant copying the files over to USB not in Rekordbox specifically.

No, info like cues and loops does not get saved to the file, like with Serato. It gets stored in the database.
Manually copying tracks over doesn't bring the info along.
It has to go through the sync. So to use a track with cues on another computer, after using the sync manager, plug the track in the other computer that is in RB Performance mode.
