XDJ-RX2 Display Screen not centered

Hi, I recently sent my XDJ-RX2 to a certified repair shop (George Meyer AV) to fix a USB problem. After two months I finally got it back but the main screen display is shifted to the left by 1 cm, or 3/8ths inches. I'll include images.

  • I have tried turning off the power multiple times, as well as disconnecting the power cord and reconnecting.
  • I updated the Firmware from version 1.33 to 1.38 to see if it would fix the problem
  • I tried using the Touch Screen Calibration settings, but that doesn't seem to be part of the problem.

Is there a way to reset or move the display UI?

Thanks,

Michael

Hey Michael,

That's super weird, let me email one of our engineers and find out what's going on. The touch calibration wouldn't fix that as it would be for the touch point relative to the display point, not the display positioning.

Michael,

Sorry about that -- our engineers have said that it's likely that the display panel itself was not positioned properly (it sits inside the unit; the touch digitizer and display are separate components), and may not have been noticed. I'm surprised they didn't power it up to verify.

Please contact the ASC to have them fix it properly for you.

We have the exact same issue after replacing a main board.

The board was sent back and we received a new one with the exact same issue. Was also on firmware 1.33.

Please let me know if you have any updates on this as the only fix is a new main board - but not from the batch I already have as it will have the same problem.

@Sam > The problem is the panel itself has shifted and needs to be re-seated.

It's a brand new unit that was previously working fine. I have tried another board that also works fine, but this is from another unit so cant keep it permanently.

I have been notified that the newer screen part number is not compatible with the old main board. I will speak to my dealer if they can supply the updated parts.
