RX XDJ not able to control Rekordbox Performance mode

Hi, 

I've plugged in my Pioneer RX XDJ to my mac via USB and updated all drivers and firmware. In Rekordbox, my RX XDJ is recognised by the settings and has been set up correctly under 'Audio' however I am not able to control Rekordbox in performance mode with my controller. 

I have selected 'MIDI control' on Mixer mode on the XDJ and "loaded"  my decks on the 'MIDI' option on the XDJ. I have paid for a subscription to allow me to use performance mode. I really cannot figure this one out. The only thing I haven't tried is connecting via Ethernet cable but I would really rather connect via USB.
