Waveform question for XDJ-1000MK2

When loading an MP3 file from a USB (Not a Rekordbox file, that works perfectly) is it normal that the complete track waveform is not displayed?  The waveform appears as the track is playing.

Yes; it has to analyse the waveform as the track is decoded (during playback), so in order to get the large waveform AND the overview, we recommend running your music through rekordbox first, then exporting to USB for use in the XDJ.
