DDJ SSB volume fader replaced. Only small part of the top does the volume fade

Hello i replaced the volume fader on my ssb 1 controller. I had same damage during replacement but everything seems soldered properly now afaik. Now i got full volume again but only the top 2cm of the volume does the fade. Like i can push it like 20% down from top position and the volume is off. Is there some trouble with my soldering, faulty fader or can i do something in the software? Like a calibrate option? Or maybe a part on the pcb damaged? Factory reset is not clear for me how to perform, i can come in to utility mode, check the buttons and and all the faders. Would love to hear your ideas or solutions. Thank you in advance.
