good afternoon SOS sos

I am using serato dj pro, i have a new unit pioneer dj xdj-xz, and I have a macbook prp mojave 10.14.6. i just got it my pioneer. how do i hook it up.  I need someone to walk me through this.  I need help bad.

Hey Corey,

A few things...

1) There are instructions in the manual and Quick Start guide on getting started.

2) Make sure the firmware is updated on the XDJ-XZ (current version is 1.12) - instructions and the download file are here.

3) Download the drivers and install them before connecting the XZ via USB.

4) Update Serato DJ Pro to the latest version (2.4.1).

5) Read the manual (pg. 128) for details on getting the XDJ into software control mode.
