DJM V10 Echo Length/Feedback on BPM Effects?

Hi There.

New owner of the V10, very impressed so far but am a bit disappointed in the length of the Echo BPM Effect.

As far as I can tell there is almost no difference in the trail out length of the Echo effect, or any other of the post fader effects once the LEVEL/DEPTH knob is turned past 12 o clock.

I Set the Beats to 1/2, set the knob to 12 o clock and counted the number of beats (Post Fader) and I get exactly the same at 12 o clock as I do 5 o clock.

I Set the Beats to 1 and I get 21 beats before complete silence...and 23 at 5 o clock so hardly any difference

This is the same for 1/4 beats and 2 Beats.

I am on the latest firmware but from what I can see they have no improvements added for this.

I can see that a couple other people have mentioned this issue and it looks like the response is "no, its staying as it is".

Now, you can kind of play about with the send FX for LONG DELAY and increase the FEEDBACK for a similar effect, but this involves routing through a different channel so ya can Cue first and hear what the effect will sound like and try to get it in time using the TIME knob.

Is there anyway that this can be addressed in a Firmware update by adding more FEEDBACK for the LEVEL/DEPTH Knob? The Mixer itself seems great but the difference between 12 & 5 oclock on the LEVEL/DEPTH know just seems to have zero effect on some of the BMP effects.

If anyone else is having the same issue it would be good to hear from you, just to make sure its not an issue with my unit.

Much appreciated!

James Taylor
