DDJ RZX M1 Rekordbox Video and Windows Mac hybrid use

After using Rekordbox Video for a while my experience is, that there is almost no Windows based Laptop, with enough performance for Rekordbox Video for an intense Live performance, without delays or problems. Therefore I am using a high bred Workstation, which is not very comfortable for travelling. Regarding the new M1, which is now supported (MacOS Big Sur) I would like to know, if this is the best recommended combination for this scenario.

To explain my pain: Even my Thinkpad P52 with a i7-8850H 2.6 GHz CPU, 32 GB RAM,  Nvidia Quadro P3200 (6 GB VRAM) was not powerfull enough (!).

Could You please provide an example Laptop system, which allows the usage of Rekordbox Video without any noticeable delay? This would be a great advice! I also asked myself if it would make sense to add an external GPU via Thunderbold 3 but since my OS Resource Monitor doesnt shows serious bottleneck in the GPU-area (even with the activated Rekordbox flag for reduced CPU consumption/more GPU usage) I am lost, if this makes any sense. The only monitored GPU counter with high peaks is the Video decode-one. But the delay occurs even if the related load is low to medium. Any recommendation on this would be great!!

Another aspect is the hybrid usage between a Mac and Windows OS: Since I am using mostly Windows based systems I only would switch the device to a Mac for a Live perfomance. Could this be an issue (I am heavily using Hot Queue-Points for Videos)?

And last but not least: What is the Future of DDJ-RZX? Since longed-for Feature updates are missing (like Midi-Mapping for Video Effect-Controls) and the slowly vanishing information for Rekordbox Video on rekordbox.com I am afraid that my massive invests in Art-Videos and devices will be lost soon :(

Will there be a successor for DDJ-RZX or is there any roadmap?

Even with these pains this Solution is still the best available on the market!!
