DDJ-RZX Scratch/Hold Video without the screen turning black

While scratching a Video in Rekordbox Video the output screen turns black if you hold the wheel or change the direction (at least for a little moment). The only workaround I found was the use of the Direction-switch (Slip Reverse) but this allows limited flexibility.

Is there any better way or option to prevent the screen from getting black while holding the wheel or pausing the video for a moment?
