M1 Mac with Big Sur, DDJ-1000 not showing in RB Audio settings

Morning.

I have 'installed' the new compatible drivers for my DDJ-1000, currently running 11.2.1 on an M1 MacBook and I have followed the instructions here as noted on other new threads.

However the installation goes through as successful from the .dmg, but I do not receive any Security pop up or notification, I don't have anything to "Allow" from that window pane either, and see nothing about "AlphaTheta Corporation".

What I DO see is that com.pioneerdj.driver.DDJ-1000Audio IS listed in the "Disabled Software" software section of System Information. But, like I said, I have no option to approve this and let it through.

I have used the uninstall process, too, tried again to no avail three our four times.

Would anyone have any tips, please.

Thank you in advance.

For anyone with anything similar, please read on.

I left the Security & Privacy window open for a while and after a few minutes the "Enable system extensions" button just appeared.

When pressing, it asks to start the machine into the Recovery environment and launch the Startup Security Utility (on the menu bar once you've booted into it as per the on-screen instructions), and then to enable the user management of kernel extensions.

After completing this and booting back into MacOS, the driver is no longer listed in the Disabled Software section of System Information and the DDJ-1000 is now an option in Rekordbox. All working good.

Hello,

do you also have some problems to play with your DDJ-1000? Everytime i start, my Controller lags and it crashes after a time.
