DDJ-FLX 6 on Rekordbox 6 not working with Intel 11 (i7) processor laptop

Hi, Guys

After spending more than 10 hours straight today trying to resolve the issue, I finally decided to post here, already feeling a little hopeless..

  1. I am trying to connect a DDJ-FLX 6 to a new laptop: Dell XPS 13 on an Intel i7 CPU and Windows 10
  2. I am using Rekordbox 6 (latest cut)
  3. The laptop does not recognize the controller at all, it only lights up the "Hot Cue" button together with "Merge FX" and "Release FX" button
  4. When logging into Rekordbox the only thing I can hear is the sound of constant connecting and disconnecting of the controler via USB when it eventually stops and the controller "plays dead"

I tried to implement all ways to tackle this suggested on this forum, including:

  1. Using another USB port, another USB cable, etc.
  2. Reinstalling the BIOS and audio drivers (Realtek)
  3. Running a complete system update on Windows 10
  4. Removing the Maxx Audio application
  5. Reinstalling the older versions of the Realtek audio drivers
  6. Overriding the automatic Dell drivers auto-update and running it manually through all possible driver groups (incl. audio, USB ports, Thunderbolt, firmware, BIOS and everything else)

... and unfortunately, this far the only conclusion I was able to reach is that perhaps I will need to return the laptop...

Please advise as this has started to become really frustrating without any trace of how to solve the issue.

Sorry Kamil, unless Dell provides a BIOS or driver update that will allow you to get beyond the versions which are causing the FLX6 to not be recognized, it's not something we have control over.
