XDJ-RX2 canot connect to PC and rekordbox

Hello -

I'm using the XDJ RX2 and I'm on a Windows 10 PC. I've installed the latest version of rekordbox 6.5.1, the XDJ firmware is 1.38 (the latest I believe), I've downloaded and installed the PC drivers from your site (I think the right ones), and I cannot get rekordbox on my computer to recognize the controller. In Rekordbox when I go to settings>audio> and select the XDJ-RX2 ASIO as the device, it gives me an error and says "Error While Opening XDJ-RX@ ASIO".

Furthermore, in the device manager in where the RX2 is listed, it says "Driver is unavailable" despite that I believe I've successfully installed said drivers.

The USB port is good, the deck is new, I'm really not sure where to go next. Could you please help so I can get started with my new deck?

Update:

Still playing around with this - I pressed the "MIDI" button on the controller, and then it let me know the driver is not up to date. I clicked the button to install driver, and then that install failed. Screenshot included for clarity

Update -

I've messed around more and still can't get these windows audio drivers to work. I've even gone as far as reinstalling rekordbox, and I just can't get these drivers to work. Help??

When you connected the RX2 the first time, had you already installed drivers from the Pioneer DJ site or did you allow Microsoft to install them? You may need to open the Device Manager (with the RX2 connected) and force it to uninstall the device, then disconnect the USB and install the proper drivers, then reboot and see if that works.
