DDJ 1000 artwork is not displayed if the file is in dropbox

Hi,

When in DDJ 1000 I load a song located in dropbox, the cover is not shown in the jog display.

On the other hand, if it is located in a folder outside of dropbox, it is displayed correctly in the jog display.

OS version: macOS Big Sur 11.3.1

DDJ 1000 Firmware version: 1.12

DDJ 1000 Drivers version: 3.0.0

Rekordbox 6 version: 6.5.1

Kind regards

Hi Francesc,

Have you checked the file info panel to the right side of the rekordbox window? It could be that the artwork stored on that file is in one of the other 30-something possible spots and thus is not read by rekordbox. Check that it's in the COVER or COVER FRONT field.

In rekordbox it is always displayed correctly.

I have verified that the illustration type is front cover.

I have put the same file in two locations, one outside of drobbox and the other inside of dropbox.
When not in dropbox it is displayed correctly and when it is in dropbox it is not displayed.

I have solved it by selecting the track and choosing the reload tag option from the contextual menu, then instantly it is already shown in the jog display.

This option is also found in the file information window.

It seems that it is a bug when reading the label.

Interesting - I was going to say, I've got a bunch of music in Dropbox and never had that issue. I'm glad reloading the tags resolved it!
