The XDJ-RR does not have an audio input, so there is no way to send the master audio from the RR to the computer. You would require a separate audio interface to capture the mix to route to OBS. Sorry!
hello, I'm planning to buy a XDJ-RR soon, but I heard that it's not possible to use the controller in standalone mode attached via USB to the laptop and take the audio output of the controller via USB as a device in windows to record the audio or use it to stream on OBS Studio, is it that right ? do you confirm it ? so is it the only way to take the output from the master rca output of the controller and attach via cables to an audio input of a sound card interface ? I hope in this case I can control the volume of the output that goes to the pc separately from the volume that goes from the other output of the controller to the speakers.
this is very important to know because if so I need also to buy a sound card for the laptop, I'm currently a owner of a denon mcx8000 and with the denon it's possible to use it as an audio source via USB to stream or record in the laptop pc but I would like to switch to pioneer xdj-rr, maybe the problem can be fixed using ASIO or VB-CABLE driver ?
please let me know as I would like to buy the xdj-rr.
thanks.
