DJM FX stopped working

Sup guys, just got a new DJM-S5 and I’m having an issue where my FX/Scratch cutter have stopped working. I’m fairly new to deejaying and am brand new to pioneer so it’s possible I hit something I shouldn’t have. They where working on serato on my home PC but not on my (DJ)partners max book so I thought it was his serato settings but now they have stopped on mine as well. I hold the corresponding button then hold it again till it blinks per instructions, flip the knob and . . . Nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !
