DDJ-1000 Recording Opportunities and Video-Capturing

Hello,

I own a ddj-1000 and try to figure out the best way on how to capture a Video during live mixing.

the following Opportunities comes in my mind:

a) buying a CAM that have a special Audio interface (something like: Zoom Q8 )

- Long enough Cable from DDJ to Camera need to be flexible with the Position of the CAM.

-Not so Cheap (assume 300€) for the CAM

- New Devices: 1 (CAM)

b) Buying a CAM and record the Audio via something like Tascam DR-40x

  1. Not so Cheap (assume 200€ + 500€ for the CAM)
  2. New Devices: 2 (CAM + Audiorecorder)
  3.  Mixing the Audio and Video together (syncron) gets a little bit complex

c) Buying a CAM and record the Audio  via  Evermix4 (android / Apple only)

  1. - Cheap (existing Cam can be used, if the Smartphone can handle Situations with low light ... around 130€).
  2. New Devices: 1 (Autdiorecorder)
  3. Mixing the Audio and Video together (syncron) gets a little bit complex

d) Buying a CAM and record the Audio  via Rekordbox

  1. not so cheap (500€)
  2. New Devices: 1 (CAM)
  3. Rekordbox stops recording nearly around after 2 Hours (a little los of the total set
  4. Mixing the Audio and Video together (syncron) gets a little bit complex

Solution a) to c) are based on connection those external devices via RCA (Master-Out2) , that theoretically have the drawback of "false signals comming vom around and disturb the Audio "Talkover ???"  (I`m not a native english speaker so forgvie me) so maybe a DI Box is needed ? any Experiences out there ? If true, another Device has to be bought, handled, transportet an so forth . I`would like to avoid having a Zoo of Devices !

would be nice if some could give me a hint about a technical setup that is not more than 500€ or more insights ..

thanks

peter
