Change the another USB cable or try another USB port of your PC.

DDJ-RZ disconnectiong
Evening all,
A couple of times now i've had an issue with the DDJ-RZ and Recordbox disconnecting randomly.... More annoyed tonight as i was 30mins into recording a set and the next thing it all died....
any ideas..... This is on a mac book pro, 8GB, SSD, 2Ghz i7.

Its standard behaviour on my windows setup as well.
Ridiculously unfinished product that hit the market way to early!
