Fix color on xdj rx (Fixer les couleurs sur le XDJ RX)

Hello everyone, I had already made a request on this subject I was answered but I am not entirely satisfied.
The XDJ RX is a very good product that I recommend but there is always this problem that gets me and I should not be the only one.
We can put colors on our memory cue by knowing what to do at that moment at least that's how I work.
The right colors show no problem at this level.
The problem that is really disturbing is that the next memory cue during the reading is displayed in white, it does not remain to the color that I have attributed to it.
This is really disturbing when I prepare my memory cue with the color when I want to make my set in the evening.
The fact that the colors of the memory cue remain fixed will save me time instead of watching in TRACK MENU - CUE / LOOP LIST.
Indeed it serves no purpose that this color appears in white.
So I would submit an update to fix this problem.
This is the only default I find on this device really shame given the price.
Cordially

ps: translate by google sorry.

Sorry, the XDJ-RX system is not capable of loading and displaying the hot cue colours.

I agree 100%. I use the colors to mark sections of tracks so I can better pair up similar phrases to get a cleaner mix, but that is useless if I can't tell what color the next cue point is going to be. It can't be difficult to not turn it white, that's the default state after all.

Please Pioneer, it's such a fantastic system otherwise.

Thanks,
-tlf.

We know the hot cue colors don't display. The pads are solid blue backlit. That's not the issue, we were talking about the memory cues. Those display colors perfectly well, except that the next memory cue point is alway overwritten with pure white, to show which cue point is next up. All we were requesting is a way to disable that change to white, so we can see the color itself.

Here's a link to a gif demonstrating the issue: http://imgur.com/aoNXykE

Great thank you very much Pulse. And also thislooksfun for your video is clearer like that. I'm waiting for your return with impatience. It is a stand alone and this function is very useful.

Jep, coloring it white is pointless if you use colored mem cue's.

Any feedback Pulse?

There has been some internal discussion regarding this issue - the current spec is for the next memory point to become white to indicate it's "next" but I agree that it should still be shown in colour, with another visual indicator to show it's next.

I fully agree. There's no point in changing the color, especially since the next point is usually the color that matters the most.

If the team wants to keep it as it currently is, then we would at the very least like a toggle somewhere in the settings to disable it.

Please keep us posted!

(p.s. You might want to remove the "official comment" if you can, since it doesn't actually answer the question.)

Un clignotement Blanc + la couleur serait l'ideal.

Je suis sur que c'est possible.Merci d 'avance

(Translation of above / Traduction de above)

Blinking white + the color would be ideal.

I'm sure it's possible. Thanks in advance.

==============

That's one possibility; I personally would prefer to have it be a solid color with some other indication (maybe add a white outline? It gets bigger anyway).

I haven't updated yet, I think I might stick with the version I have for now. However, this is an unrelated thread to that issue.

All so, if you put a Hotcue over a memory-cue it turn green.

There is a possibility because you have above and below the waveform an arrow. Color 1 of the arrows maybee?

Is there any movement on this, it's still really frustrating.

I have to change the drop down to "Memory Cues" to see the colors, but then if I press a pad selection (say the effects bank) - it will then switch the screen away.

i cant even figure out how to change the color of my cue points on my computer let alone the xdj-rr i just bought. I'm super excited about this controller but am having a lot of trouble finding worth while tutorials that actually explain how to use recordbox. after reading pioneers (pulse) answers to the thread about the debate on the camelot key system not being used in recordbox and this thread i doubt coming to the official pioneer forums will lead anyone to a satisfactory conclusion or answer about any issues with the gear or software. it seems they use this forum strictly to tell their customers to 'deal with it' can i get a witness??? do we just have to succumb to pioneer not wanting to make their software better because they're the 'industry standard'? googling 'rekordbox forums' always leads me to this unhelpful website with a moderator who seems like they hate their job. is what I'm saying going to shun me from the software and my account? why is everyone else so complacent with the lack of help here?

@Travis > To change the cue point colours, there are two options -- hot cues or memory points:

Right-click on the hot cue pad and select Edit Pad Color.

To change a memory point's colour, it's the same process:

Right-click on the memory cue you wish to change.

Can you at least say whether it will get into the 5.x branch? I'd hate to have to subscribe or whatever the new system is going to be just to change a color from white! :s
