I have a pioneer ddj sx2. Starting today, serato dj would have a problem detecting the controller when I would try to connect it to my MacBook Pro. I first closed and re-opened serato dj and it would still have an error and not connect. I then rebooted my computer and tried to connect again but had no success. Finally, I turned off my ddjsx2 and after it powered back on serato dj was finally able to detect the ddjsx2 controller. I thought this was a one time fluke but it seems like it happens every time I tried to connect today. So every time I want to use the controller, I have to power cycle the controller once before serato dj detects the controller. Any ideas/suggestions?
Whenever connection issues like this occur, our first recommendation is to try using a different cable and a different USB port on your computer. This will usually solve the issue.
