Toraiz SP-16: send specified MIDI bank/program change on regular MIDI channels

I saw in a NAMM video that the SP-16 will be able to send a specified MIDI bank and program change to the AS1 synth when using the special AS1 track type. 

I would really, really like it if regular MIDI tracks were able to do this as well. Maybe that is already in the works. I hope so.
