XDJ-RX - standby mode

Hi - is there a standby mode on the XDJ-RX.

I noticed a 'wake up' feature on there but not sure how to get it to activate.

I ask because it seems sensible not to frequently turn the device on and off every eve.

This is for two reasons:

* The flashing lights are quite intrusive when watching telly.

* I sometimes just like to play vinyl with no intention of mixing and since the phono amp is within the XDJ-RX, there's no option to listen without switching all the lights on.

Cheers!

There's a power button on the back to switch the unit on and off. ;)

Unfortunately there's no way to put the unit into standby without a lack of audio input.

So what is the wake up button for? Does the unit slip into a standby mode when left idle?

Exactly - if there's no audio and no controls are moved, it will go into standby mode after a certain amount of time (I don't recall the exact amount).

the wake up button is for when you want to record to a USB stick in the right hand port

No, the wake-up button simply WAKES the unit from standby, it has nothing to do with the USB2 port itself.

That's the "screen saver," not "stand-by."

First, the AUTO STAND-BY must be "ON" in the settings, and the following circumstances must be observed:
