XDJ-RX Recording to USB 2 is not showing up on USB

I did a quick test (30 seconds) to see if the record option was working on the USB 2 input/port on the controller. It was and it showed the recording track on the USB when plugging into a computer. I then proceeded to record a 70 min mix. The mix only shows up in the controller but is only 16 min long and the mixer is saying the USB is "Full" even when I formatted the USB to wipe it clean before the 70 min mix. When I plug in the USB into the computer the RECORD folder is empty.

I'm using a Sandisk 32gb formatted as MS-DOS

Any ideas?

On my Mac the option is "MS-DOS (FAT)" I imagine that's FAT32?

Euh.... I think so, but I'm not sure. Can you find an app that formats in FAT32? Just to make sure.

Yes, "MS-DOS (FAT)" is a FAT32 filesystem.

Your 32GB drive is more than large enough to record a 70 minute mix, if you are having problems I would ensure that the drive is, indeed, formatted - and give it a new, unique, name. Also verify that the firmware on the XDJ-RX is updated.

I'm having the same issue. I recorded in a event on a formated USB Fat 32. i was recording on XDJ RX. i'm checking now the files. The pioneer recording file is empty. I opened on on rekordbox as well to see if it might see something but yeah still empty.

Any idea how and where i could find my recorded set

Are you checking on the drive itself in the XDJ or on a computer?

Insert the USB drive in the RX, look for RECORDINGS under the browser.
