Rekrodbox cant analyze tracks
Hey, brand new to DJ'ing and just downloaded rekordbox, imported my desired playlist. Every time i click on a song it reads "rekordbox cannot create the analaysis file in the folder you specified in the preferences". i went to preferences and there is only one option when it comes to folders. Very confused and need help pronto as my first gig is fast approacing. Many thanks!

OK, well, I have windows so I don't now how you should do it but I know what it is.
It s a security that the folder / drive can only be accessed by you as a users. Not by a program. So google for that, something like 'security access' or 'folder protection' It's a OS problem, not a RB problem.

I'm guessing you might have moved your files to a new computer and no longer have access to the previously defined folder within the preferences.
Can you confirm this suspicion for me? I can provide some instructions on editing your settings file but need to know what we're dealing with first.

DIdnt move files from another computer. ive actually restarted my computer and tracks are all being analyzed now. Dont quite know what was wrong but problem solved
