As @George says, you may need to format it to FAT32, but I'll also point out that low-end SanDisk USB drives are notoriously problematic and should be avoided.

Hello,
I bought a pen drive from the scan disk 64 gb model Datatravel 3.0. when I plug in myXDJ R1 I get the error message "E-8307"
Maybe the console does not read pen drive 64gb? or is there another explanation?
What does the code "E-8307" ?????????
Please kindly help me.

probably wrong format
needs to be FAT32
exFAT & NTFS which are more common these days won't work with your XDJ
Windows won't allow you to format a 64GB device but you can use a third party application to do it
