XDJ 1000 MK2 and the SP1 MIDI PROBLEM!!
I have recently purchased a full set up 1000 mk2s 900srt and an sp1 all brand-new. I have owned them for two weeks now and on two occasions the sp1 has malfunctioned. Last night I was 3 hours in to a set (LIVE) and the sp1 cue buttons on the right-hand side started operating the the buttons on the left-hand side it laid a que point down and started jumping back to it at the same time as jumping back to the que point on the track I was working on.
There’s is an issue here, I would have messaged the support buy your support link is down.
the mk2s are on 1.10 firmware and it was all being used in standalone.
Also, what is the thing about you having to use a usb port to use the sp1. Reducing your usb stick ports, couldn’t they think of a better way to connect it, people have multiple stick these days.

There is firmware for everything it's on 1.10 which is how it came from the shop, there just isn't any updates from when the mk2 got developed.
We'd need to know a bit more information -- if there was anything you can think of about the configuration or modes that were active, what you were doing at the time it occurred, etc, any details at all we can pass along to our team, as you're the first to report this issue and we'd like to know if it's reproducible or an isolated incident. Thanks!
Right so i was djing again last night and it did it again i noticed a few more thing...
Left track playing out, with sp1 on slipmode and in the roll function.
SAME TIME Right track playing out in the cue function tapping away on the cue buttons bouncing through vocals.
and the right pads initiated the roll function on the left and looped it even with slipmode on.
and as soon as i pressed the slipmode button on the left-hand side it jumped out of the loop.
by this point it was royally f**ked and everyone was looking at me.
Thanks - I've passed this along to our product team for investigation.
You may want to try the new XDJ firmware (released today), and see if anything changes.
I have read in the update notes that problems with slip hot cue have been fixed, will this update also come to xdj 1000 mk1 ?
Asked the product team to see.
