Search with loop Rekordbox vs. XDJ-RX

When using Rekordbox in Performance mode with an active loop, pressing the Search button on the XDJ-RX moves the loop position in the track (so the loop itself is moving through the track, just as it would if you weren't in a loop).

However, when playing off a USB on the XDJ-RX, the search key moves within the loop, then out of the loop (but the loop does not move with the search). When you release the search, the track jumps back in the original loop location (the loop is still in its original location).

Essentially, Rekordbox DJ's search will move the loop, while Rekordbox on the XDJ-RX will not. I particularly like this feature to move around a track in sections of 32 beats.

Is this a bug, or is there a way I can enable this behavior when playing off a USB?
