Chances are the USB drive had an issue - what's the make/model of the drive?
Hi there!
Today while mixing some tracks from my usb drive after 25-30 minutes my xdj-rx gave me the "E-8306 NO FILE" error message with all the track's that I wanted to load on Deck 1 or Deck 2 and all the track's turned to gray and couldn't load them to any deck.
All my track's are analyzed in rekordbox 4.2.5 and then exported via sync manager to my usb drive and ejected properly, which is format into HFS+. My xdj-rx firmware is 2.20 and I'm on macOS Sierra 10.12.3.
I never had this error before. What might be the problem???
Thanx!

My usb is Sandisk Ultra Fit 3.0 64 GB https://www.sandisk.com/home/usb-flash/ultra-fit-usb
Do you have a non-SanDisk drive you can test with?
All my usb drive's are from sandisk. But what can I do??? Should I reformat my usb and re-export my track's??? Which format is better : FAT32 or HFS+ ???
Got any friends who could loan you one?
You can try both formats, they're both supported.
I'm sorry but my friend's are not tech addict so I don't have a different usb brand.I will do some more testing tomorrow to see if the error is still present.I hope is nothing wrong wiht my xdj-rx because last week I got my first freeze and I shot down my xdj-rx but the screen remain opened and I taked the power cable out and only then xdj-rx screen turned off.
If you can replicate the error with that same song, it could indicate a problem with the file itself or supporting files.
For those who r getting the e 8306 error when using a usb on the xdj rx here's what worked for me. I removed everything from my usb then reformatted it and exported only analyzed tracks to it and it works like a champ. The end
