Rekordbox setting cue point with CDJ850.

I used to play with my CDJ850's from USB stick or CD, with either loaded I disable the vinyl mode and when I press play to start a track and press play again after the first beat to pause the track the track sort of stutters after which I use the jog dial to set the cue point to exactly the first beat, hit cue and thereby set a very precise cue point.

Now I have hooked up my CDJ850's to my laptop with Rekordbox DJ so I can browse through my entire music library. I am unable however to reproduce my method of setting a cue point because when I hit the play button twice to set the track to pause I can only use the jog dial in a vinyl mode way although I have disabled vinyl mode on the CDJ850's. This method is not really allowing me to set an exact precise cue point as I could with my previous method.

Is Rekordbox DJ able to do what I want or is that not a feature of the program (maybe in conjuntion with the CDJ850's)?
