2 Cross fader issues. DDJ RX

I've only had these decks out 4 times and the cross fader is displaying 2 major issues.

1)  Cross fader curve is different for left and right.
When I turn the Curve knob full anticlockwise for smooth curve, the left deck works as expected, the right deck does, it's a much tighter curve.
I've updated firmware and also changed the cut lag to see if fixed it but it doesn't

2) Second issue is the right deck sometimes cuts out all sound completely for no reason.  I have to wiggle the fader to make sound come out again.

I guess this is a hardware issue and I have to get it swapped out.   It's under warranty so should be ok but I'm currently in a different country and I'm stuck with it until I get home.

Please check the Cross feder curve setting from Preferences>Controller>Mixer.

Hi again.

OK so I put the cross fader on the screen in rekord box and things are a little clearer.
Please see this video I made to show the behavior of the software cross fader.

You can see the cross fader moves very slowly on the left side but very fast on the right side.  I'm moving the cross fader at the same speed all the time.  So the hard version does not match the soft version.

Unfortunately that option is unavailable in my settings because this thread is related to a DDJ RX and the DDJ RX has a manual knob on the front of the deck which means you can't control it from the software, and also I do not believe this will fix my problem.

Have you watched the video and understood the problem?

Can you see that it moves extremely slowly on the left hand side but very fast on the right?

This is incorrect

Hi Graham Vincent.

After DDJ-RX engineers saw the video, they assume those issues may be caused by the hardware fault. They advise you send back the unit to the store you purchased it or a service center near from your place.

Thank you very much for your kind cooperation.
Best regards,

Such a shame.

It's gonna be ages until I can get it fixed.
Can you ask your engineers if they think it's worth getting a new cross fader sent to me from England and replace it or could the fault lie somewhere else?

Thanks
Graham

Could you please also ask them where I can get a replacement?
When I search I can only find DDJ SX and not the new DDJ RX.   Do they use the same cross fader?
