Recording settings What does 'Automatically Optimize Audio Level on a Recorded File'

So, let's say I was sloppy or I forgot to equalise my files before the recording.

Would this setting in RBDJ equalise the recorded output file in the sense that the whole mixed recording would have the same output volume, regardless of the individual files' initial volume?

If so, what level would that be? Can I set it myself @91.5dB say?
