Toraiz SP 16 Access samples via USB/Link like the CDJ's

I have all my music and all of my toraiz sp 16 samples on a rage 128MB usb 3.0 drive.  

I cannot access the samples via link like I can access songs from my cdj nxs2's that are linked, I have to pull out the usb drive and put it into the toraiz.  

Is this a hardware limitation?
